Shiva mandir is one of the famous Hindu temple in Dubai. I have been to this temple several times. It is located at Bur-Dubai and is very close to Dubai Museum. This is the temple of Lord Shiva. Here you can find the big statue of lord shiva with shiva-linga infront of the statue. Generally milk,coconut ,fruits,flowers and sweets are given to god as offerings by the devotees here. So there are various shops selling all these items near the temple. This temple is always packed up with devotees. There are also photos of other hindu gods like ganesha,Krishna,laxmi,durga,saibaba,etc. There is also sikh-mandir at upstairs,where Sikhs can worship their god Guru Nanak.Here all kinds of hindu festivals are celebrated. Especially, on theShivaratri(most famous festival of Lord Siva),there will be a very large queue at this temple. Roti and curry are offered to devotees as god’s offerings.There are convenient benches at the temple premises, where you can relax and have the offerings
